Arizona's Primary Port of Entry

Nogales, Arizona, United States

9 February, 2018

Nogales is Arizona's largest and busiest port-of-entry from Mexico, and is only one of two urban border crossings between Arizona and Sonora (the crossing between Yuma and San Luis Río Colorado is the other). It is also where most commercial traffic from Mexico enters Arizona. The Nogales area has been known for some rather nefarious activity along the border, but I felt completely safe walking the city's famous International Street near the Morley Gate Station, which is the primary pedestrian crossing between Nogales, Arizona and Nogales, Sonora.
