Hoover Dam

Straddling the state line between Arizona and Nevada, the Hoover Dam is one of the most impressive feats of engineering in the United States. While a new bridge over the river (US-93/Interstate 11) was recently built, you can still drive over the dam on part of the old route. For security reasons, they have closed access from the Arizona side, so you must enter from Nevada.
