Raising Bat Awareness at Kasanka Schools

Any time you undertake a research project in conservation, it's critically important to educate the local community. Especially when you're dealing with creatures that are as so commonly misunderstood as bats. So we took the day to visit one of the local schools to talk about the importance of bat conservation inside Kasanka National Park. Interestingly, the students are schooled more in French and the local language than they are in English, but we did not run into any issues with language barriers.
