Severe Storms Break Out in Western Oklahoma

Carnegie, Oklahoma, United States

18 May, 2013

On day one of a three-day severe weather outbreak across Oklahoma, my dad and I intercepted a line of severe storms, including a supercell south of Carnegie. Low light and lots of blowing dust made for some spectacular skies. Fortunately these storms stayed over unpopulated areas and did not produce any tornadoes, so their impact was minimal.
